Cold Case Tuesday-The New York State Police continue to investigate the 34-year-old missing persons case of Erica J. Franolich.

Erica Jayne Franolich was reported missing to authorities in Waterford Michigan on February 25, 1987, by family that was living in the state of Michigan, and had not been able to get in contact with her.

At the time of her disappearance, the 26-year-old mother of two was living with her husband and their young son in Schoharie County.

She is believed to have last been seen at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 13, 1986, in the area of Main Street and Railroad Avenue in the Village of Middleburgh, New York.

Erica has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a mole on her left knee and a small indentation on her forehead, slightly left of center. She is 5’3’’ with a small build. It is believed that she may be the victim of foul play.

Members of the New York State Police in Troop G continue concentrated efforts to solve this missing person case and request the public’s assistance. If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Erica Franolich, please contact SP Princetown at 518-630-1700.
