Mamaroneck, NY – On April 27, 2019, at approximately 2:11 a.m., State Police responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on I-95 in the town of Mamaroneck.  The investigation revealed the operator of a 2017 Nissan Rogue lost control of the vehicle and struck a concrete barrier.  The driver, Laura K. Cloherty, 31, of Eastchester, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  After being evaluated by EMS at the scene for a minor injury, Cloherty was transported and processed at SP New Rochelle.  Her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18% and was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
 
Cloherty was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mamaroneck Court on May 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
