PRESS RELEASE

On January 17th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Eric Olson, 28, of Jamestown, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.

The Troopers responded to I-86 in Randolph for a report of a vehicle driving "all over the road" in the east bound lane. The Troopers located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Main Street in Randolph. The driver, Olson, was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. Olson was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .17. As a check of Olson’s driving record revealed a DWI conviction within the preceding ten years, the charge was upgraded to a felony. Olson was then processed, issued tickets and released. Olson is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date.
