PRESS RELEASE
 

On February 8, 2020, at approximately 7:09 p.m. State Police responded to Wal-Mart, located at 25 Consumer Square in the town of Plattsburgh for a report of a shoplifter. 

32-year-old Christina M. Nasti, of Esopus, NY, concealed numerous consumable goods valued at approximately $1,149,21, and left the store without paying for them. During the course of stealing from Walmart, Nasti had a 4-year-old child with her. 

Nasti was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree. She was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Plattsburgh Town Court. 

Later that evening, at approximately 10:17 p.m. State Police responded to Sweet Frog located at 200 Consumer Square in the town of Plattsburgh for a report of a child left alone inside the store. An investigation revealed that Nasti left the child in the store with an employee while she left for a short time. Nasti was arrested again and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Plattsburgh Town Court.
