Troopers attempt to stop motorist who flees in Rochester

At approximately 1:50 p.m., today, the State Police attempted to stop a motorist for a traffic violation when the motorist failed to comply and fled troopers.  After a brief pursuit the motorist was involved in an accident on St Paul Blvd. near Scrantom Street and then fled on foot.

Allegany and Cattaraugus County newest K9 member

On March 31, 2020, the newest member of the NYSP K9, Nicki named after Trooper Nicholas F. Clark who was killed in the line of duty on July 2, 2018.  Nicki will be serving the public in the Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties.

State Police report the arrest of Reginald Saint Juste, 32, of New Rochelle, NY, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

On March 31, 2020, at approximately 1:00 am, Clinton County 911 reported an active structure fire at 23 Peaceful Way, apartment 4, in the town of Plattsburgh.

On March 29, 2020, at approximately 12:40 a.m., State Police responded to a residence in Witherbee for a report of a domestic dispute.

On March 30, 2020, State Police arrested 27-year-old Alexander E. Gagnon of Morristown for assaulting a male consumer at the High Street IRA in Morristown.

On March 27, 2020, at approximately 5:38 a.m., State Police responded to a residence on South Cliff Manor Drive in the town of Plattsburgh for a report of a domestic dispute.
