SP Batavia – Man found deceased in fatal house fire

On April 30, 2016 at approx. 5:25 am a house fire was reported at 8056 State Hwy 98 in the Town of Batavia. With the assistance of Batavia Fire Company the home owner was located, Roger Saile, 90, deceased.

DWI arrest on State Route 14 A in Penn Yan
Around 9 pm on Tuesday April 26th, New York State Police received a complaint of an intoxicated driver traveling southbound on State Route 14A.  The driver of the vehicle initially stated she had not been drinking, but failed standard road side sobriety tests.  (more)
