On May 14, 2023, troopers from the Montgomery barracks arrested a city of Newburgh man for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) twice in less than three hours.

Tito Vinza-Vinza, age 38 from the city of Newburgh was first observed at approximately 4:16 a.m. on traveling east on Broadway operating a gray 2007 Ford F150. He was stopped by troopers after he was observed to be drifting into the opposite lane. While being interviewed by troopers it was determined that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. Vinza-Vinza refused to provide a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC). He was charged with DWI and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Newburgh Court on June 23, 2023, at 9 a.m.

At approximately 7 a.m., a trooper from the Montgomery barracks observed a gray 2007 Ford 150 traveling on First Street in the city of Newburgh in violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. The trooper stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Tito Vinza-Vinza, age 38 from the city of Newburgh. While speaking with troopers it was determined that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested. Vinza-Vinza had a BAC of .09. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Newburgh Court on June 23, 2023, at 9 a.m.
