PRESS RELEASE
On May 28, 2022, State Police arrested Robert C. LeBlanc, age 48 from Groveland, MA for the following charges:
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class “D” felony
- Reckless Endangerment 1st degree, a class “D” felony
- Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, a class “D” felony
- (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class “E” felony
- Menacing 2nd degree, a class “A” misdemeanor
- (3) counts of Possession of a Large Ammunition Feeding Device, a class “A” misdemeanor
LeBlanc was visiting a seasonal camp in the village of Constableville in Lewis County when he was in a verbal argument with three other individuals at the camp. He retrieved a gun from his vehicle and fired three shots at the residence. No one was injured. He also stabbed and deflated the vehicle tires of the other guests at the camp.
LeBlanc was arraigned in the New Bremen Town Court and was being held on $2,000 bail which he immediately paid and was released.
