On September 18, 2022 at 2:06 pm, Troopers out of SP Olean arrested Shawn G. Woodring, 41, of Portville, NY for DWAI-Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and numerous vehicle and traffic infractions.
On September 18, 2022, Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Barbertown Rd in the town of Portville in which Woodring was the operator. Investigation on scene determined Woodring to be impaired by drugs at the time of vehicle operation. Woodring was placed under arrest for DWAI-Drugs after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Olean for processing. An inventory of Woodring’s vehicle located approximately 15 grams of fentanyl.
Woodring was issued traffic tickets returnable to Portville Town Court at a later date in October 2022.
