On February 4th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Dennis Steiner, 42, of Brockport, PA, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

The Troopers responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Peck Settlement Road in Jamestown, NY, and placed Steiner under arrest after he failed several SFSTs. Multiple envelopes containing heroin residue were also found in Steiner’s possession. Steiner was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant and a narcotic. Steiner was then transported to UPMC where a blood sample was secured. After the completion of the processing at SP Jamestown, Steiner was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Kiantone Court next month.  Steiner was uninjured in the accident.
