PRESS RELEASE

On November 9, 2019, State Police in Princetown arrested 22-year-old Dylan J. Germani of Albany, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (misdemeanor), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor).
 
Shortly before 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning, State Police responded to the area of State Route 7 in the Town of Duanesburg for a hit and run motor vehicle accident. Troopers located the suspect vehicle a short time later on Pangburn Road. Upon speaking with the driver, Dylan Germani, the Troopers observed multiple indicators that he was impaired.
 
Germani was asked out of the vehicle and was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed. He was taken into custody and transported to SP Princetown where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert and it was determined that he was under the influence of drugs. During a search of his person he was also found to be in possession of a quantity of Xanax.
 
Germani was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Princetown Town Court on December 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
