On July 20, 2020, State Police in Brunswick arrested David Altidor of Albany, for Driving While Intoxicated- Leandra’s Law, a class E felony.

State Police responded to a report of an erratic operator on State Route 7 in Pittstown shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Upon arriving in the area, a Trooper observed Altidor traveling east on State Route 7 as he committed multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.

The Trooper initiated a traffic stop and smelled the odor of alcohol while speaking with Altidor. Altidor was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and showed signs indicative of intoxication. A 7-year-old child was present in the vehicle at the time of the stop and was turned over to a guardian.

Altidor was transported to SP Brunswick where he provided a breath sample of .18% B.A.C. He was issued an appearance ticket for Pittstown Town Court on August 12, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
