On April 21, 2020, State Police arrested 45-year-old Latavia Fullard of Albany, for Assault 1st degree (B felony), Reckless Endangerment 1st degree (D felony), and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (A misdemeanor).

At approximately 6:53 p.m. on April 21, 2020, State Police responded to a possible stabbing in a vehicle between exits 5A and 6 of I-90, in the City of Albany. When Troopers arrived, they found a 2000 Ford Ranger which had collided with a concrete barrier in the median. A male and female were located inside the vehicle and in apparent distress. The male appeared to be suffering from multiple lacerations to the face and neck, and the female was having an unknown medical episode. Both occupants were transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Further investigation has led to the arrest of Latavia Fullard after it was determined that she used a knife to stab the driver as they drove down I-90. The attack caused the driver to collide with a concrete barrier in median. Fullard and the driver were known to one and other and at this time, it is believed that the attack was unprovoked. Both the victim and Fullard have been treated and released from the hospital.

Fullard was arraigned on April 24, 2020 and remanded to Albany County Jail in lieu of bail, she due back in court on May 8, 2020.
