March 9, 2020 – SP Latham

Albany woman arrested in for falsifying records to unlawfully obtain unemployment benefits.

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) stationed at SP Latham arrested a 50-year-old Albany woman for the Class D Felony of Grand Larceny 3rd and the Class E Felonies of Falsifying Business Records 1st and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st.    

Auretha Dugger was arrested after an investigation revealed that she submitted falsified records to the NYS Department of Labor in order to receive unemployment benefits totaling $6,915.00 which she was not entitled to. 

Ms. Dugger was processed without incident at SP Latham and appeared in Albany City Court to answer the charges.
