On December 29, 2019, State Police in Latham arrested 25-year-old Karli N. Pawlak of Albany, for Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
At approximately 2:39 a.m. on December 29, State Police stopped a vehicle observed speeding on Washington Avenue in the City of Albany.  The driver, identified as Karli Pawlak, displayed signs indicative of intoxication and was subsequently administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which she failed.
Pawlak was taken into custody and transported to SP Latham where she provided a breath sample of .14% B.A.C. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Albany City Court on January 13, 2020 at 8:30 a.m.
At the time of her arrest, Pawlak was employed as a recruit Trooper in the current session of the Basic School at the New York State Police Academy. She is no longer employed with State Police.
