On March 19, 2023, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Peter J. Lyons., 65, of Alden, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated. 

During a traffic stop on State Route 354 in the town of Bennington, Lyons was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Lyons had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition.  Lyons had failed standardized field sobriety tests.  He was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.11% BAC.  Lyons was released with appearance tickets for the town of Bennington court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
