On March 16, 2021, New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative.  All 17 business were found to be in compliance. 


The establishments were:

  • Speedway, State Route 12 in Norwich, NY
  • Gulf Express, State Route 12 Norwich, NY
  • Mirabito Convenience Store, State Route 12 in Norwich, NY
  • Kwik Fill, State Route 12 in Norwich, NY
  • Speedway, 6157 State Route 12, Norwich, NY
  • Nazzitto’s Wine & Liquors, State Route 12 in Norwich, NY
  • No Problem Liquor, West State Street in Sherburne, NY

During the Underage Drinking Detail Initiative retail establishments are checking utilizing a trooper in plain clothes and one or several underaged operative who cannot lie about their age or give a fake date of birth.  When asked for ID, they must show their real ID.
