Andover man arrested for DWAI-Drugs in Friendship

On April 5, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested Josiah D. Milne-Dunne, 34, of Andover, NY for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs 1st Degree and Criminal Impersonation 2nd Degree.

Troopers investigating a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway on County Road 20 in the town of Friendship, observed Milne-Dunne, the operator of the vehicle, exhibiting obvious signs of impairment. Milne-Dunne provided the Troopers a false name, and admitted to taking suboxone. Milne-Dunne subsequently failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. He was arrested and transported to SP Amity, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.00% BAC. A Drug Recognition Expert evaluation, along with Milne-Dunne’s admissions, revealed him to be impaired by a narcotic.

Milne-Dunne was issued appearance tickets for Friendship Town Court, where he is due to appear in later this month, then transported to the Allegany County Jail on a probation warrant.
