Angelica woman arrested for DWAI-drugs, drug possession in Cuba

On May 28, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested Tennille D. Hadaway, 42, of Angelica, NY for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Non-Original Container, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree.

During a traffic stop on Interstate 86 in the town of Cuba, Troopers determined Hadaway to have been operating her vehicle in an impaired condition and discovered her to be in possession of suboxone for which she did not have a valid prescription. Hadaway failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Troopers also discovered Hadaway had an active warrant in the city of Hornell, NY. She was arrested and transported to SP Amity, where a Drug Recognition Expert examination determined her to be impaired.

Hadaway was released with appearance tickets for Cuba Town Court, where she is due to appear this month.
