Arrests made after January shooting in Cortlandt

Peekskill, New York - On February 16, 2023, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested Lee Anthony McLeod, age 40, of Peekskill, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony, and Reckless Endangerment in the 1^st degree, a class D felony, and Dashe Leach, age 34, also of Peekskill, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor.  

At approximately 3:15 p.m., SP Cortlandt members, with assistance from the Peekskill Police Department and US Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, executed a search warrant at a residence in Peekskill, which was related to a January 28^th  non-fatal shooting incident that took place in the town of Cortlandt.

McLeod was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail. Leach was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Peekskill City Court on March 10, 2023, at 9:30 a.m.
