Brunswick, NY - May 02, 2012
 
     The New York State Police in Brunswick report the arrest of a subject in a "Home Invasion" type Robbery which occurred in the Town of Brunswick on April 30th at approximately 10:45pm. The victim, an 84 year old female, opened the door for the suspect, who entered her home under the guise of needing to use the phone. She was threatened with physical harm if she did not provide whatever money she had to the suspect. The victim provided money and the suspect fled the area. She reported that she recognized the suspect from previous work that she had done to her home.
 
     Arrested for Robbery in the 3rd Degree and Burglary in the 2nd Degree was MICHAEL P. DONGELEWIC, 60 years old, from West Park Place in Troy, NY.  DONGELEWIC was arraigned in the Town of Brunswick Court and subsequently remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail. A preliminary hearing on the case has been set for May 4th.
