Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs Arrest-Property Damage Accident - UPDATED 7/18/2012
On 7/18/2012, the New York State Police issued Rocco Scuiletti, 47, of 1901 New Hackensack Rd. Poughkeepsie, NY, a uniform traffic ticket for leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident which occurred on I-684 on 7/13/2012 in the Town of North Castle.
Investigation revealed Mr. Scuiletti was operating a 2011 International tractor hauling a trailer when this vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Ms Kennedy. Investigation has disclosed that Scuiletti was aware that he was involved in an accident and failed to report the accident as required by Section 600 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Mr. Scuiletti was issued a uniform traffic ticket on this date which is returnable to the Town of North Castle Court on 8/7/2012 at 6:30PM.
On 7/13/2012, at approximately 8:00 AM, the New York State Police in Somers investigated a hit and run property damage auto accident that occurred on Interstate 684 in the town of North Castle.  
911 calls reported a white vehicle operating in an erratic manner in the southbound lanes south of exit 4 that collided with a tractor-trailer.  As a result of the collision, the vehicle sustained damage and a flat tire, and reportedly exited the interstate at exit 3, becoming disabled on State Route 22. 
North Castle Police located the vehicle and found Kerry Kennedy, 52, of Bedford, NY, seated behind the wheel of a 2008 Lexus RS 350. State Police arrived and a subsequent investigation found Kennedy to be operating the motor vehicle while her ability was impaired by drugs.
She was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the town of North Castle Court on 7/17/2012 at 6:00 PM.
