State Police - Clarence Conduct Underage Drinking Initiative

The New York State Police based out of the Clarence Barracks, along with the State Liquor Authority, conducted an underage Drinking Detail Sunday afternoon to coincide with Superbowl Sunday which is traditionally marked by increased alcohol consumption. Numerous businesses were checked in the Town’s of Wales, Marilla, Alden and Clarence. The underage drinking check covered 12 stores of which two sales were made. The following stores sold alcohol to an underage subject.
-Ron’s Gas-Rite on Broadway in Alden in which the attendant, Sandra Lukasczyk, 56, of Alden was arrested and charged with Prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years of age. Lukasczyak was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Alden Court on a later date.
-Red Apple Kwik Fill on Main St. in Clarence in which the attendant, Stacey Delano, 37, Of Clarence was arrested and charged with Prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years of age. Delano was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarence on a later date.
The following establishments were checked and properly complied with the law denying sales to the underage buyer:
-Yellow Goose gas station, Big Tree Rd., Wales
-Marilla Country Store, Two Rod Rd., Marilla
-Red Apple Kwik Fill, Two Rod Rd., Marilla
-Rite Aid Pharmacy, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Save-A-Lot Store, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Crosby’s Mobile Gas Station, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Sunoco Gas Station, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Dok’s Liquor Store, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Sunoco Wilson Farms, Walden Ave, Alden
-Mobile 7-11 Gas Station, Main St., Clarence
