Traffic Stop in Albany leads to Drug Arrest by State Police

(Albany, NY - April 5, 2013)

On April 4, 2013 a Trooper assigned to SP Capital stopped a motorist for passing through a red light at the intersection of Eagle St and Washington Ave in the City of Albany. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver, Christine A. Boilard, age 38, of Schenectady, NY, was found to be in possession of 6 1/2 hydrocodone pills and a small quantity of marihuana. Boilard was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, then released on an appearance ticket returnable to Albany City Police Court on 04/12/13 at 9:00 AM
