State Police Arrest Two Suspects In Plattsburgh Walmart Supercenter Larcenies

The New York State Police in Plattsburgh have arrested two suspects who were sought for the larceny of electronic merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter in Plattsburgh, New York.
On Saturday, April 20, 2013, at approximately 12:02 a.m., a male and female entered store and stole approximately several thousand dollars in electronic merchandise from the store, leaving in a vehicle traveling towards Ampersand Drive. The electronics included laptop computers, camcorders and digital cameras. Still images obtained from security cameras were released to the media on April 24, 2013, in an effort to identify the suspects.
During the evening of April 24, 2013, John L. Letts, age 26, of Plattsburgh, New York, turned himself in to the New York State Police in Plattsburgh after Letts was notified that his picture was contained in the images released by the State Police and posted on the WPTZ Channel 5 Facebook page. Letts led Investigators to additional stolen property, with a total value of approximately $20,000.00. The larcenies have been ongoing for several months. A large amount of stolen property was recoved by the State Police.
Plattsburgh-based Troopers began the search for the female suspect in this investigation, and after conducting searches at known addresses for her, Alison L. Sault-McDonagh, age 25, of Plattsburgh, New York, turned herself in to State Police at Plattsburgh this afternoon. Sault-McDonagh was arrested on felony charges of Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree. She was arraigned before the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $4,000.00 cash or $8,000.00 bail bond.
