SP Livingston-Roadcheck Leads To Multiple Arrests

On June 9th, Troopers from SP Livingston conducted a roadcheck on State Route 23 in the Town of Greenport.  The roadcheck resulted in the following arrests:

-JACOB HUMPHREY, 27 yoa, of Brighton Massachusetts was operating a vehicle that was  uninspected and had an expired registration.  He was also found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.  Mr. HUMPHREY was arraigned in the Town of Greenport Court on the charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, Uninspected Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.  He was remanded to the Columbia County Jail on $250cash/$500 bond to reappear June 24th at 3pm in the Town of Greenport Court.

-STEVEN CHABOT, 21 yoa, of  Townsend Road, Schroon Lake, NY was found to be in possession of a small amount of marihuana.  He was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and issued an Appearance Ticket returnable on June 17th at 5pm in The town of Greenport Court.
