SP Jamestown - Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

On July 29th, 2013, Trooper AARON DESTRO pulled over a vehicle on I-86 in Jamestown for speeding. While speaking to the driver, Trooper DESTRO smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle and removed the occupants. Passenger PAMELA SLATER, 35, of Jamestown, had several containers in her purse containing marijuana, totaling 15 grams. SLATER was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, issued an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court on a later date to answer the charge.
