Millbrook resident arrested subsequent to property damage accident

PRESS RELEASE
 
Union Vale, New York – On September 8, 2013 at approximately 8:27 p.m., State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Cleland M. Wynkoop, 36 years old, of Millbrook, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Wynkoop was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated when he provided a positive breath sample which yielded a Blood Alcohol Content greater than .18%.
 
Wynkoop was determined to be impaired after an accident investigation that was conducted on State Route 82 in the town of Union Vale.  Wynkoop was operating the sole vehicle involved in the accident.  Troopers administered Standardized Field Sobriety Testing on Wynkoop which he subsequently failed. 
 
Wynkoop provided a positive breath sample which yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%.  Wynkoop was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Union Vale Justice Court on September 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
