Press Release

Oyster Bay – On Thursday, September 12, 2013, at approximately 11:00 pm, New York State Police observed a white BMW traveling westbound on the Northern State Parkway at a speed of 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. The operator of the vehicle, 50 year old Dina Lohan of Merrick, NY was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested on a charge of DWI and Aggravated DWI after a breath test revealed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .20%, more than twice the legal limit. After being taken to SP Farmingdale for processing, Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest. State Police called an ambulance to have Lohan evaluated. When emergency personnel arrived and evaluated Lohan, there were no injuries and she recanted her claim. Lohan was issued traffic tickets for the two DWI offenses and speeding. She was later released to a sober third party and is scheduled to appear in Nassau County 1st District Court on September 24 at 9 am.
