(Kirkwood, NY – January 11, 2017) On January 10, 2017, New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Tristan J. Roche, age 21, of Binghamton, NY for the felony of Criminal Mischief 3rd degree.

This arrest occurred after troopers were advised of vandalism complaint to a vehicle parked on State Route 11 in the Town of Kirkwood.  An investigation determined that Roche had put a foreign substance into the gas tank of a vehicle owned by his girlfriend’s father with the intent to cause damage.  He did this in late December 2015 and it caused about $800 worth of damage to the vehicle after it was driven a short distance by the owner.

Roche was arraigned in the Town of Kirkwood Court and was released.  His next court date is pending.
