Two Men Arrested for Possessing Forged Payroll Checks, Forged Credit Cards and Marijuana

Bethlehem, NY – On February 15, 2017, at approximately 6:53 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle, Khalil T. Sharp, 19, of Poughkeepsie, NY, and his passenger later identified as, DeAndre D. Green, 18, of Kingston, NY, were found to be in possession of forged payroll checks, forged credit cards and approximately 15 grams marijuana. Sharp was placed in custody. Green fled the scene, was tracked by a State Police K-9 unit, and actively resisted arrest prior to being taken into custody. Both men were transported and processed at SP Albany.
Sharp was subsequently charged with:
He was arraigned before the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or bond.
Green was subsequently charged with:
He was arraigned before the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or bond.
Both men are schedule to reappear on February 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
