Clarence Woman leaves cell phone at scene of hit and run

On 3/26/17 Troopers responded to Circle Ct, Clarence to investigate a report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed that Kelley Perkins struck a parked vehicle and then stopped exited her vehicle, surveyed the damage and left without reporting the accident or speaking to the parked vehicle's owner. While on scene she dropped her cell phone. Shortly thereafter Troopers arrived and found the damaged vehicle and cell phone. While interviewing the victim the phone rang and Troopers interviewed Perkins who gave her location. A subsequent interview of Perkins at her home resulted in her arrest for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and Aggravated DWI. Perkins was processed and provided a breath sample of .19%. She was released with a return court date in Clarence Court.
