Auburn man arrested for Attempted Use of a Child In a Performance and Attempted Dissemintating Indecent Material to Minors 1st Degree

On March 27, 2017, the New York State Police and the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jack O. Douglas (age 52 of Auburn, NY) in the Town of?Seneca Falls?(Seneca County) for Attempted Use of a Child In A Sexual Performance (a class D felony) and Attempted Disseminating Indecent Material To Minors 1st (a class E Felony). It is alleged that Jack O. Douglas was attempting to engage a 13 year old female in sexual contact. Douglas was taken into custody prior to Douglas having any contact with the 13 year old female. Douglas was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Jail without bail. New York State Parole assisted with this investigation. Douglas was being supervised by New York State Parole as a level 3 sex offender at the time of his arrest.
