Rochester Man Stopped for Driving at 110 mph, Arrested for DWI

On 4/2 at approximately 2:15 a.m., the New York State Police in Rochester arrested Edwin Burgos, 34, of Rochester, following a traffic stop on I-490 in the city of Rochester.  Mr. Burgos was observed travelling at 110 mph in a 55 mph zone, as well as making several rapid lane changes.  During the traffic stop, Mr. Burgos displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests roadside.  He was found to be operating with a .14% blood alcohol content, and was released to a sober 3rd party to answer charges in the City of Rochester Court on 4/14 for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and speeding .
