State Police Investigate the Death of a Hurleyville Man

On April 5, 2017, State Police and the Fallsburg Police Department responded to a residence on Railroad Avenue in Hurleyville, New York. Dylan Dainack, age 35, was found deceased inside the residence. The investigation revealed Dainack, an on-duty Fallsburg Police Officer, had returned to his residence during his shift for an evening meal break and was discovered by an acquaintance a short time later. The acquaintance then contacted 911. An autopsy is scheduled and the investigation into Dainack’s cause of death remains ongoing.
