State Police DWI arrest leads to Oxycodone and Heroin

On Sunday, April 9, 2017, at approximately 3:00 a.m., troopers from Valley Stream stopped Alan Sadowsky, 51, of East Meadow, on Franklin Avenue in the Town of Hempstead and arrested him for DWI. Subsequent to his arrest, Mr. Sadowsky was found to possess heroin and Oxycodone pills. During processing, the troopers determined Mr. Sadowsky had recently been arrested by the New York State Police for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and that his license had therefore been suspended.

Mr. Sadowsky was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd -Narcotic ( B Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (2 counts) (A Misd) and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 1st ( Felony).? Mr. Sadowsky was transported to Nassau County Detention pending his arraignment.
