Rouses Point man arrested following domestic dispute

On April 27, 2017, at approximately 5:15 p.m. State Police responded to 19 Booth Drive for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that Bradford W. Duross, 47, of Rouses Point, refused to allow the 64-year-old female victim to leave a room they were staying in. He also pushed the victim several times during the course of their altercation.
The victim was found to be a protected party on an active refrain from Order of Protection against Duross. Duross was arrested and charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, and Attempted Assault 3rd Degree.
Duross was arraigned at the Town of Plattsburgh Court where he was remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail due to two prior felony convictions, in addition to his current felony charges. He is to reappear in the Town of Plattsburgh Court on May 4, 2017, at 4 p.m.
