Fultonville, NY female, Cohoes, NY male arrested for possessing heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana subsequent to a traffic stop.

Woodbury, NY – On June 17, 2017, at approximately 12:43 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Woodbury for a traffic violation. During the Trooper’s interview of the driver Katherine L. Vrooman, age 28, of Fultonville, NY, probable cause to search the vehicle and occupants was established. Found in the vehicle was approximately 23.7 grams of Heroin, approximately 2.7 grams of Methadone pills, multiple hypodermic needles containing heroin residue, approximately 1 gram of Marihuana, multiple packaging material for packaging and selling heroin, multiple illegal heroin cutting agents. The passenger Andre B. Moore, age 55, of Cohoes, NY, was found in possession of a crack smoking pipe with crack residue inside, approximately 3 grams of Heroin.
Both parties were taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh, where they were subsequently charged with:
Both Vrooman and Moore were arraigned in the Town of Woodbury Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail. Moore sent with no bail, Vrooman bail set at $250. Cash or $500. Bond. No return court date available at this time.
