Two charged with manufacturing Methamphetamine in the town of Schuyler

the New York State Police - Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) announce the arrests of Amee L. Johnson, age 29 and James M. Mitchell Jr., age 30 for Unlawfully Manufacturing Methamphetamine in the 3rd degree, a class “D” felony.
These arrests are the result of an investigation into the manufacturing and sale of methamphetamine. On January 11, 2018, A search warrant was executed by members the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) and Troopers from the Herkimer station at 121 Bono Blvd., in the Town of Schuyler. Investigators seized Methamphetamine, packaging materials, several active “one pots” and a lab which was located in a shed at the rear of the property. The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team conducted a cleanup and removed the methamphetamine manufacturing components and hazardous materials from the shed.
James Mitchell was arraigned in the town of Schuyler Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail with no bail, due to two previous felony convictions. Amee Johnson was also arraigned in the Town of Schuyler Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $2000 cash bail / $10,000 bond.
