State Police in Saratoga arrested Michael Dowling, 48, of Ballston Lake, NY for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in the Town of Malta on January 10, 2018. While on patrol, Troopers were notified by Saratoga County 911 of an unconscious male behind the wheel at the Hannaford in Malta. Upon arrival, Troopers found a blue Buick Lucerne with a male that appeared unconscious. The investigation revealed that Dowling did not have a medical emergency and was sleeping in the vehicle. He admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day and subsequently was given several standard field sobriety tests. Dowling was then arrested for DWI and later tested to have a 0.25% blood alcohol concentration. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Saratoga Court on January 25, 2018.
