Two men arrested for a burglary in Stockholm

On January 23, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the New York State Police responded to 710 Bucktown Road in the town of Stockholm for a burglary in progress. The care takers of the home observed a suspect exit the residence and flee the area on foot. A New York State Police K9 was utilized to track the suspect from the residence to Nichols Road where the suspect vehicle was observed, a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Occupants of the vehicle were questioned with regards to the burglary. The investigation revealed the owner of the vehicle, Timothy R. Kerrick, 28, of Stockholm, and the passenger, Robert P. Jock II, 43, of Malone, both entered the residence at 710 Bucktown Road to try to find gasoline because their vehicle was running low. Kerrick and Jock were both arrested and charged with one count each of Burglary 2nd degree and one count of Conspiracy 4th degree stemming from this investigation.
Kerrick and Jock were arraigned in the Town of Norfolk Court by Town Justice Donald Lustyik. Kerrick was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, and Jock was remanded in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
