Keeseville man found in possession of marijuana during traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE
 
On January 25, 2018, at approximately 9:40 a.m., State Police initiated a traffic stop on a State Route 9 in the town of Plattsburgh on a 2012 GMC Acadia with inadequate headlights. The operator, 36-year-old Richard P. Corbel of Keeseville, was subsequently found in possession of 20.5 grams of marijuana.
 
During the investigation it was learned that Corbel’s license was suspended for failure to answer a summons.  He was issued tickets for inadequate headlights, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, all returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court.
