Two arrested for drug possession in town of Plattsburgh

On January 25, 2018, at approximately 1 p.m. State Police responded to 7130 State Route 9 in Plattsburgh for a report of an unresponsive male.
The male, identified as Robert M. King Jr., 30, regained consciousness and declined medical treatment. An investigation revealed that King, also a parolee, was in possession of approximately 79 grams of heroin. He was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree.
King was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court. He was remanded to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, or $20,000 bond.
33-year-old Cythnia M. Latulip was also found in possession of a small quantity of heroin. She was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable in the Town of Plattsburgh Court on February 6, 2018, at 4 P.M.
State Police were assisted on scene by New York State Parole, Cumberland Head Fire Department and the CVPH EMS.
