Schenectady, NY man arrested for possessing over 4 pounds of Marihuana subsequent to a traffic stop.

Bethlehem, NY – On January 28, 2018, at approximately 1:53 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Bethlehem for a speeding violation. During the interview of the driver for the traffic violation, probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established. The passenger, Lawrence Rowe, age 42, of Schenectady, NY, was found to be in possession of more than 4 pounds of marihuana. Rowe was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, were he was subsequently charged with:  
  • Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd degree; a Class D Felony
  • Unlawful Possession of Marihuana; a Violation
Rowe was transported to Albany County Jail and held awaiting arraignment in the Town of Bethlehem Court. No bail amount or return court date available at this time.
