(Worcester, NY - February 16, 2018) On February 15, 2018, New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Tristen R. Caballer, age 22, from Worcester, NY for the felony of Burglary 2nd degree.
On February 9, 2018, at about 10:56 a.m., a trooper responded to an Otsego County 911 report of a burglary not in progress at a home on Decatur St., in the town of Worcester. An investigation had determined that on the previous night, the Otsego County Deputies had attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Caballer who then fled on foot in the area. The suspect entered an enclosed porch to a residence, without permission, to keep from being located and arrested by the deputies. Caballer then stole some clothing and shoes and eventually returned to his home on Church Street. He was arrested at his home without incident.
Caballer was arraigned in the Worcester Town Court and was remanded to the Otsego County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond.
