Poughkeepsie man succumbs to his injuries after crash on the Taconic State Parkway

Lagrange, New York – On February 2, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks investigated a personal injury single motor vehicle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Lagrange at approximately 3:20 p.m. 
On February 11, 2018, Peter J. Wyso, age 67, of Poughkeepsie, NY, succumbed to his injuries while at Westchester Medical Center.
Preliminary investigation determined the vehicle was traveling southbound on the Taconic State Parkway at a high rate of speed and lost control while changing lanes on wet pavement.  The vehicle exited the roadway on the west shoulder and struck a tree.  Wyso, the sole occupant was transported to Westchester Medical Center at the time of the crash.
