Germantown man arrested for domestic abuse

Germantown, New York – On February 20, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Brian M. Palmer, age 24, of Germantown for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Criminal Mischief, both class A misdemeanors.
 
On February 20, 2018, Troopers responded to Hover Avenue in the town of Germantown for a domestic dispute.  Investigation found Palmer damaged property and choked the victim.
 
Palmer was arraigned before the town of Germantown Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.  An order of protection was requested and granted on behalf of the victim.
