Elmira men arrested on drug charges

On February 27, 2018, members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Troop”E” Uniform Force and Special Operations Response Team (SORT) conducted a narcotic investigation on Caton Avenue in the Town of Southport, Chemung County, NY.
Investigators seized approximately 13 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, $3,771.00 in US currency and a 2005 Mercedes Benz.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth E. Fisher, 31, of Elmira, NY, and Christopher G. Allen, 26, of Elmira, NY, were both arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (class B felony) and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree (class A misdemeanor).
Fisher was arraigned in the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail without bail.
Allen was arraigned in the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police, CNET and the Elmira Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit.
