Man arrested after displaying switchblade during road rage incident

State Police in Brunswick arrested Chaz R. Mastersonon of Troy on Sunday for Menacing 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct. Troopers responded to the Walmart Plaza in Brunswick for a report of an argument between two men in the parking lot. One of the men told Troopers he was driving a tractor trailer on Hoosick Street when he was "cut off" by a pick up truck where two lanes merge into one. The pick up was being operated by Masterson. The truck driver followed Masterson into the Walmart parking lot and the two men had a verbal argument. Masterson then took out a switch blade knife and threatened the truck driver. Masterson was interviewed and admitted to displaying the knife. The knife was located and Masterson was taken into custody. He was processed at the Brunswick barracks and arraigned in the Town of Brunswick Court. Masterson was released and is to reappear in Court at a later date.
