Schenectady woman arrested for Grand Larceny 3rd

On March 9, 2018, the New York State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation SP Princetown arrested Dormae M. Boler, age 52 of Schenectady, NY for Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st degree.
On January 12, 2018 SP Princetown BCI members were notified by the New York State Department of Labor regarding BOLER receiving New York State unemployment benefits over a three-year period between 2013 and 2016 while she was employed. During that time, it was found that BOLER was gainfully employed but was filing as unemployed with the Department of Labor and receiving unemployment benefits totaling over six thousand dollars. BOLER was arrested for Grand Larceny 3rd degree (D-Felony), Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st degree (E-Felony) and Falsifying Business Records 1st degree (E-Felony).
After discussion with the Schenectady County District Attorney’s office BOLER was issued an appearance ticket to appear in City of Schenectady court at a later date.
